Buying individual protection plans for laptops, smart watches, and other devices can be expensive. However, without coverage, repairs or replacements can put a major dent in your wallet. With a Personal Electronics Repair Plan, you can help reduce the unexpected out-of-pocket expense of covered product damage and failures with up to $2,000 in coverage for each claim, all under one plan.
Your plan covers repairs and replacements, if necessary, for laptops, televisions, gaming consoles, home theater systems, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi speakers, VR headsets, health and fitness bands, audio headsets, DVD/Blu-ray players, smart thermostats, smart door locks, smart doorbells, smart device hubs, smart home cameras, and smart smoke/CO detectors. If you select the Personal Electronics with Mobile Devices Repair Plan, your mobile devices are also covered up to the plan limit.
The plans do not cover pre-existing failures or damage occurring prior to the end of the initial 30-day waiting period. Get full details on all limitations, exclusions, and coverage caps here.
Coverage under all of our protection plans starts 30 days after you enroll. This 30-day waiting period applies only to your first year of coverage. All personal electronics plans have 12-month terms and will auto-renew after each 12-month coverage period. We will notify you of the renewal terms (including any price changes) within 45 days prior to the expiration of coverage. Unless we elect not to renew your plan, you will be automatically renewed for another one-year term at the then-standard rate and terms. If you do not want to automatically renew your plan, you must notify us prior to the plan expiration date.
1Our Obligations to pay for covered repair (including any trip charge, shipping costs, parts, and labor), reimbursement, or replacement of covered equipmemnt is limited up to $2000 per service call, up to $5000 per plan in the aggregate rolling 12- month period. Excluding service fees.

These forecasts are estimates based on wholesale data only. Your actual retail replacement cost will vary and may be higher.
Once the plan commences, there is a 30-day waiting period before you may request services for a claim. Unless the plan provider elects not to renew the plan upon expiration of the first year, the plan will automatically renew at the standard rate and terms. You may opt out by calling or refer to the terms outlined in your agreement for more information. Sales tax will be added in select states.
