A protection plan can help offset the high cost of unexpected household repairs. If a covered system or appliance breaks down, simply request service online or by phone using our simple claims process. A qualified service professional will diagnose the problem and perform covered repairs, and under most of our repair plans you’ll be covered for up to $500 per repair call and up to $2,000 annually. Some repair plans may also include annual preventative maintenance service and/or a system replacement credit that applies if the technician determines the problem cannot be repaired. See our sample Coverage Summary and Terms & Conditions for complete details.

Repair coverage under our plans starts 30 days after you enroll. This 30-day waiting period only applies to your first year of coverage; if you decide to renew after your first 12-month coverage period, your coverage will continue uninterrupted. If you enroll in a plan that includes maintenance, your maintenance coverage will begin immediately.

All our plans have 12-month terms. Unlike manufacturer warranties, our plans can be renewed to provide you with coverage as long as you’d like. We may elect to renew your plan by notifying you of the renewal terms (including any price changes) within 60 days prior to expiration of coverage. Unless we elect not to renew your plan, you will be automatically renewed for another one-year term at the then-standard rate and terms. If you do not want to automatically renew your plan, you must notify us prior to the plan expiration date.

Under our repair plans, when a covered item or system breaks down, you can request service online 24/7, or call our customer service line during business hours. A qualified technician will come to your home, diagnose and repair the problem. If your plan includes maintenance coverage, you simply let us know when you would like your annual maintenance service, and we’ll have a technician get in touch to make the appointment.

If you have a Surge Protection Plan, when a covered item has been damaged by a power surge, let us know online or by phone. We’ll provide you with a claim form, and instructions on how to arrange for a qualified technician to assess the damage. You’ll send us the technician’s repair invoice for reimbursement.
